MEDIA ARTICLES -
Bernie Elsner from Sustainable Alternatives was recently interviewed by Ben Mitchell of Growing Free Gardens for the Autumn edition of SPICE Magazine which is a Gourmet Food magazine based in Fremantle, Western Australia.
The article is about Bernie's work as a Sustainability Facilitator at a privately-run Corrections Facility (Prison) in Western Australia.
The course that Bernie teaches the inmates is called 'Permaculture Awareness' and it is a basic introduction to Permaculture and Sustainability principles and practices.
This course is subject to funding being available and Bernie has recently taught his first (and possibly last) Permaculture Awareness course for the year thanks to Outcare Inc. being able to source and be granted government grants/funds.
